Standards and standardization. A practical guide for researchers
The Directorate-General for research and innovation in the European Commission has recently edited the practical guide for researchers on standards and standardization.
The purpose of this document is to provide a complete overview of the international standardization systems and mechanisms by which generated new rules, in addition to identifying the benefits of standardization as a means to add value to the results of research projects.
This document can be useful for laboratories and researchers of the network of laboratories, and they usually work with standards, consult them or even at some point of his activity raised develop an accepted international standard, derived from his work.
Research and Innovation
Research and innovation help create jobs, prosperity and quality of life. The EU is the world leader in many technologies, but they face the growing challenges posed by its competitors not only traditional but also emerging economies. Joint programs allow you to combine the research effort to obtain results that EU countries can not achieve alone.
